What does Referral Window and Credit Policy mean?

Referral Window

The “Referral Window” sets a window of time in which a creator can receive credit for an action (i.e. a sale from the tracking link).

According to Walmart’s Master Agreement (found in your settings), the referral window allows referrals from clicks within 30 days.

Credit Policy

This section of the Master Agreement explains what you would need to do to receive credit for an action. According to the Master Agreement, Walmart makes use of the “Last Click” credit policy.

What does all of this mean?

If one of your viewers visits Walmart’s website through the tracking link you provided and does not purchase anything, the referral window starts from that first visit. If that same viewer returns to Walmart’s website within the referral window time frame (i.e. 30 days), using that same link you provided, and purchases the product, you will receive credit for driving that sale!
