Why we request permissions and how we protect your data

Any time you log in to TikTok using an unrecognized device or from a third-party application, you will be asked to enter your password and a one-time verification code; we have to authorize it in order to verify that you are the actual owner!

We do ask that you accept all permissions when connecting your account so that you are able to participate in all campaigns and monetize your content. Once linked, we do not have access to any private information aside from your audience data, which is what brands use to determine if you are a good fit for their campaign.

Please note that this is a choice made by TikTok and our brands to get real-time analytics, and build long-term relationships with our creators.

Connecting your TikTok

1. On your dashboard, click on the gear icon next to “My social accounts" to connect your TikTok.

2. You’ll then be taken to your settings page where you have the option to connect your TikTok. 

3. Once you’ve selected TikTok, you’ll be prompted to an authorization page where impact.com would need to authenticate your account. 

4. Be sure to select all permissions. We do ask that you accept all permissions when connecting your account so that you are able to participate in all campaigns and monetize your content. 

5. Once you’ve clicked the Authorize button, you will then be taken back to your settings page and your TikTok would have been successfully connected!
